Elephant's Dream is the result of almost a year of work, a project initiated and coordinated by the Blender Foundation. Six people were selected to come over to Amsterdam to work together on an animated short film. Bassam Kurdali handled the overall scene breakdowns and editing decisions, and was responsible for overseeing the animation and acting performances. He worked as a character animator on many of the shots, as well as character modeller.
