Two spoiled guys become competitive stepbrothers after their single parents get hitched. Adam McKay made his name as a writer and director on Saturday Night Live (2000-2001). His debut feature came with Anchorman: The Legend Of Ron Burgundy (2004) starring Will Ferrel, who also starred in McKay's next, Talladega Nights: The Balled Of Ricky Bobby (2006). Step Brothers marks the third collaboration between actor and director.
