A study of awakening adolescence in a remote Turkish village. Reha Erdem began his studies in history at Bogazici University in Istanbul. In 1983, he went to Paris University to major in Cinema and Modern Art. He directed his first feature film, the award-winning Oh Moon, in 1989. His other films include A Run For Money (1999) and What's A Human Anyway? (2004). Times And Winds won the Golden Tulip at the Istanbul International Film Festival, 2006.
