In his first mission, James Bond must stop Le Chiffre, a banker to the world's terrorists. Martin Campbell began his career as a cameraman. After working in British television on such series as The Professionals (1978-79) he directed revamped the James Bond franchise with GoldenEye (1995), starring Pierce Brosnan. The Mask Of Zorro (1998) and Vertical Limit (2000) followed, before Campbell was again asked to resurrect Bond, this time with Daneil Craig in the lead role.
