Tomek is a self-taught draughtsman, cartoonist and film director. His first film, Rain, won prizes in Poland and was the springboard for launching the production company, Platige Image. From 1999 to 2002 he worked on The Cathedral, a short film that won Best Animated Short Film at SIGGRAPH 2002. Fallen Art is his second short and won a BAFTA in 2006.
