The life story of legendary French singer Edith Piaf. Olivier Dahan studied at the Marseille School of Art. Before working in film, he exhibited his paintings, made numerous music videos and worked for several record companies. As a director his credits include Already Dead (1998), Tom Thumb (2001) and Crimson Rivers 2: Angels Of The Apocalypse (2004). La Vie En Rose was nominated for the Golden Bear at the Berlin International Film Festival, 2007.
