Nick Broomfield is one of the leading British documentary filmmakers. At university he made his first film, Who Cares, using a borrowed windup Bolex and shot it on short ends. Ghosts (2006), a scripted feature, won Broomfield the Solidarity Award at the San Sebastian International Film Festival, 2006.
