A young man is recruited by an organisation of secret assassins. Born in the former Soviet Union, Timur Bekmambetov achieved international acclaim for his third feature film, Night Watch (2004), an effects heavy action/adventure fantasy. The first in a trilogy, Night Watch was followed by Day Watch in 2006. Wanted is Bekmambetov's English language debut. His next film is Twilight Watch, which is currently in production.
